Amaravati, December 23, 2025: Backwards Classes Welfare Minister S Savita visited the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Gurukul School in Mopidevi mandal and launched the Mustabu programme.

She inspected hostels, kitchens, and facilities. Savita joined students for breakfast and checked on food quality, uniforms, and health services. She told students to focus on studies while keeping personal hygiene and surroundings clean.

The Mustabu initiative targets hygiene awareness for nearly 70 lakh students statewide. Savita called Jyotiba Phule gurukuls a brand for quality education and discipline. She directed staff to raise food standards.
