Amaravati, December 23, 2025: The Community Health Centre in Venkatachalam, Nellore district, gained national certification under the National Quality Assurance Standards.
It scored 84.29% across key areas like service delivery, patient safety, staff teamwork, and facility management. This makes it one of only two CHCs in the state to meet these rigorous benchmarks.
Local leaders praised the teamwork of health workers and government support. The centre now qualifies for a Rs 3 lakh incentive plus ongoing annual grants to boost services. Corporate aid has already added vital equipment.
