Amaravati, December 24, 2025: Telangana leader K Kavitha, heading Telangana Jagruthi, firmly stated she represents the genuine concerns of Telangana residents and operates independently, dismissing suggestions that she acts under any party's control.

Speaking during her ongoing Janam Bata yatra in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, she acknowledged past mistakes under the previous BRS government, took moral responsibility, and apologised for any resulting hardships.

Kavitha sharply criticised ongoing issues in key infrastructure projects, including repeated road alignment changes in the Regional Ring Road (RRR) that favour influential landowners while displacing poorer farmers, and delays in delivering water from the Baswapur reservoir under the Pranahita–Chevella irrigation scheme despite land acquisitions.

She announced plans for an online campaign and a January 5 round table in Hyderabad to unite affected farmers and push for accountability, fair compensation, and project completion.
