Amaravati, December 28, 2025: Prakasam Superintendent of Police V. Harshavardhan Raju stressed the need for constant readiness among personnel. Speaking at the annual firing practice at Chimakurthi Range near Ongole, he instructed officers to stay armed and highly alert to protect public safety.

He highlighted the balance of skill and responsibility in handling weapons, urging caution and precision. Senior officers were asked to keep pace with modern arms technology and ammunition updates.

The directives came amid routine training, with the SP participating and rewarding top performers. Deputy Superintendents from various units, including Darsi, Kanigiri, and Armed Reserve, attended. This push aims to strengthen law enforcement preparedness in the district amid ongoing efforts to maintain order and recover stolen goods.
