Vizag, January 03, 2026: The Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) concluded its 18th All-India Conference in Visakhapatnam with strong resolutions against what it calls creeping privatisation across key public sectors.

All-India Executive Committee member Ch. Narasinga Rao, speaking alongside state president A.V. Nageswara Rao, announced a charter of demands to ramp up resistance in education, healthcare, and job markets.

Delegates highlighted concerns over policies favouring corporate interests, including PPP models and asset transfers that could limit access for ordinary citizens.
