Vijayawada, January 05, 2026: Former Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu released two Telugu translations of books by senior BJP leader and nationalist thinker Ram Madhav during the 36th Vijayawada Book Festival at Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium.

The books Mana Rajyangam Mana Atmagauravam (Our Constitution – Our Pride) and Mukkalaina Swatantryam (Partitioned Freedom) explore Constituent Assembly debates, Dr BR Ambedkar’s role, constitutional values, Emergency-era misuse, British colonial conspiracies, and overlooked historical events tied to the Muslim League.

Naidu described Madhav as “a nationalist scholar whose research and writings inspire critical reflection.”

He stressed the books’ value in reminding youth to balance rights with duties, called for their placement in libraries, and urged parents to build reading habits in children.

“Google may provide information, but true wisdom comes only through books,” Naidu said, highlighting how reading sharpens memory and focus over digital sources.
