Vijayawada, January 05, 2026: SEIL Energy India Limited, a leading independent power producer headquartered in Nellore, has opened a new office in Vijayawada. The facility was virtually inaugurated by CEO Janmejaya Mahapatra.
The company operates a 2,640 MW supercritical thermal power complex in Nellore district and supplies a large share of its generation to meet Andhra Pradesh's growing electricity needs.
Officials highlighted the move as a step to deepen regional presence, improve customer service, and support the state's energy growth.
With Andhra Pradesh pushing for reliable power amid rapid development, this expansion positions SEIL to deliver more efficient and sustainable supply in the region.
