Amaravati, January 06, 2026: Speaking at the concluding session of the 3rd World Telugu Conference in Guntur on January 5, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu appealed for unity among Telugu people across both states.
He highlighted shared cultural and linguistic roots, noting Telugu's status as one of India's six classical languages spoken by nearly 10 crore people worldwide.
Naidu emphasized cooperation on key issues like water sharing and river interlinking, pointing out that vast amounts of Godavari and Krishna river water flow unused into the sea each year.
He stated Andhra Pradesh raised no objections to Telangana's Kaleshwaram project and believes both states can benefit from better water management through projects like Polavaram and Krishna-Godavari linkage.
