Amaravati, January 08, 2026: Andhra Pradesh's emerging capital is finalising elaborate arrangements for its debut grand Republic Day observance. Chief Secretary K Vijayanand led a high-level review, stressing flawless execution of the ceremonial parade, tableaux displays, and venue setup.
Departments are aligning efforts: horticulture teams will adorn entrances with flowers, while electric lights will illuminate key structures like the State Secretariat, High Court, Legislature, and CM's office.
The Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) is preparing the grounds, ensuring clean, leveled spaces across a reported 20-acre parade area. Tableaux will highlight government welfare and development schemes to build public awareness, with themes already submitted.
