Amaravati, January 07, 2026: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), under the Andhra Pradesh government and based in Vijayawada, has issued Notification No. 01 of 2026 to recruit 220 assistant professors regularly.
The positions cover clinical, non-clinical, and super specialty departments in government medical institutions statewide.
The vacancies include high-demand areas such as radiology (20 posts), general medicine (18), general surgery (13), obstetrics and gynaecology (15), anaesthesia (14), and various super specialities, including nephrology, neurosurgery, and medical oncology (10 each in several specialities).
