Amaravati, January 10, 2026: The Grand Gandikota Utsavams, now a declared state festival, launches tomorrow in Kadapa district's stunning Gandikota area. Running January 11–13, the three-day celebration highlights the 900+ year-old fort's rich history, dramatic Pennar Gorge, and growing tourism appeal.

Visitors can explore landmarks like the Jumma Masjid, ancient temples, granaries, and the breathtaking gorge viewpoint.

This year's event introduces exciting firsts: helicopter rides for aerial views, paramotoring, parasailing, speed boating, plus a laser show and guided Culture Walks by heritage experts.

The state government has invested significantly in infrastructure, including improved viewpoints, amenities, and QR-code navigation, to make the site more accessible and globally ready.
