Amaravati, January 10, 2026: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) achieved a major milestone with the recent 10-day Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan festival, drawing a record 7.83 lakh pilgrims to the sacred darshan of Lord Venkateswara.

This marks a sharp rise from the previous year's 6.83 lakh, boosted by efficient AI-powered crowd monitoring, the successful e-dip token system, and strong inter-departmental coordination.

Peak footfalls hit 89,000 on January 3 and 83,000 on January 2. Hundi collections reached ₹41.14 crore, Srivari laddu sales climbed to 44 lakh (over 10 lakh more than before), and Annadanam served 33 lakh devotees a 39% jump.

TTD deployed 2,400 police, 1,150 vigilance staff, and 4,000 volunteers, while adorning the temple with tonnes of flowers for a seamless experience. Devotees gave high praise, with 93% expressing satisfaction in feedback.
