Amaravati, January 12, 2026: The 10-day Khadi and Rural Industries Exhibition in Vijayawada concluded with sales exceeding ₹2.20 crore, officials announced.
Organised by the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) under the Khadi Mahotsav 2025-2026 banner, the expo featured stalls from Khadi vendors and handloom weavers across states.
Products ranged from pure Khadi fabrics and silk sarees to readymade garments and handcrafted décor items. KVIC State Director S. Greep noted the overwhelming public response, crediting the success to rising interest in sustainable, homegrown textiles.
