Amaravati, January 13, 2026: Municipal Administration Minister Ponguru Narayana launched the land pooling process in Karlapudi-Lemalle village, the fourth under LPS 2.0 after Pedamadduru, Endrayi, and Vaddamanu.

Within hours, 65 farmers submitted consent letters for 354 acres out of the 2,654 acres notified for the area. Farmers expressed appreciation for the scheme, noting it safeguards their future while fueling the capital's growth through projects like infrastructure expansion.

Works worth Rs 55,000 crore continue at pace across the region, with officials targeting completion in three years. Narayana promised immediate action on local requests, including a new 2.9-km road from Karlapudi to Ananthavaram at Rs 3.9 crore, set for a quick finish.
