Amaravati, January 13, 2026: Handloom and Textiles Minister S Savitha announced discounts of 10%, 20%, and up to 30% at all Lepakshi outlets until the end of the month.

The move targets higher sales during the Sankranti festival, making traditional crafts more affordable while channelling more revenue directly to artisans.

The initiative follows a review meeting where the minister stressed strong publicity via media and social platforms.

It supports over 2 lakh artisans statewide by boosting demand for handlooms, Kalamkari, Kondapalli toys, wood carvings, and other heritage items. Officials plan to expand reach through e-commerce and a dedicated website soon.
