Amaravati, January 15, 2026: Excise Minister Kollu Ravindra and APSRTC Chairman Konakalla Narayana Rao unveiled a statue of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) at the Housing Board Bypass Circle in Machilipatnam, Krishna district.

The event drew local leaders from TDP, BJP, and Jana Sena, including Krishna district TDP president Veeranki Gurumurthy and DCMS Chairman Bandi Ramakrishna.

Kollu Ravindra hailed the occasion as historic. He stressed the coalition government's focus on welfare, development, and people-first policies.

He noted that the new statue, alongside one of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, unveiled last month by Minister Nara Lokesh at the same spot, will inspire future generations and boost pride in Machilipatnam and the district.
